One more year, recommended “Michelin Plate” 2025
Once again, we would like to thank the Michelin Guide, for granting us the distinction of “the Michelin dish” of the Michelin Guide 2020, the only establishment in El Bierzo with that distinction as of today.
The guide identifies us for being a restaurant with a cuisine of quality and seasonal products, where reference is also made to the “chef’s hand”, Miguel Martínez.
The Michelin Guide also highlights our Season Tasting Menu, which changes every season of the year.

The fresh and seasonal products of our land are one of our hallmarks with some of our chef’s outstanding creations such as “El Caviar of Roasted Peppers of El Bierzo” or “El Botillo2.0” (Aletic Award 2018).
In fact, in El Bierzo, we have 7 quality brands, 2 are Bierzo Designation of Origin: Godello and Mencía wine and Reineta Apple, the other 5 are products with PGI (Protected Geographical Indication): Botillo del Bierzo, The Roasted Peppers Of Bierzo, The Pear Conference Of Bierzo, Chestnut Of Bierzo Cherry Of Bierzo.

This badge, the Michelin dish, included as of 2017 in The Michelin Guide, gives faith, through the inspectors of the company, the value of our dishes, selecting from among many restaurants with the kitchen label with a “Guaranteed quality”.
A recognition of the work of our team that joins that of the well-known Michelin Stars and the Bib Gourmand.
This classification recognizes the value and quality of establishments such as ours, which despite a location sometimes a bit difficult for the general public (we are located in Little town), offers a current and modern gastronomic offer that allows us to be present in the 2025 gastronomy map.
